- We will NOT ship, pack, or handle any item. You must pick up items. Please do not ask us to do so or to make an exception.
- Items paid for, but not picked up within 10 business days after the auction closes will be forfeited with the winner losing their payment.
- Items not paid for within 5 business days after the auction closes will be passed to the next highest bidder, or re-listed with the winner forfeiting their right to the item.
- Please call or send an email to schedule a time to pick up items won.
- Winning bidder must take ALL equipment (no partial pickups).
Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located. The buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will the City of Thousand Oaks assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday and alternating Fridays, excluding City holidays. Sale of all surplus property is as-is and where-is, without warranty. All sales are final, no refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s).
The City of Thousand Oaks does not warrant conformity of vehicles to the requirements of the California Vehicle Code.
The City of Thousand Oaks reserves the right to withdraw any items being offered. No service of any kind will be furnished by the City.
Successful bidder will be required to remit payment in full within five (5) business days from the Notice of Award received from PublicSurplus.com and complete removal of all items from the City within ten (10) business days from the Notice of Award. Must contact the responsible party ahead of time to arrange for pick up.
PayMac, collects ALL payments for the City of Thousand Oaks. Payments shall be made on-line by credit card or by wire transfer.
A 10% Buyers Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction to collect payment.
Applicable sales tax of 7.25% will be added to the amount due unless the buyer has provided a valid tax-exempt certificate to the City of Thousand Oaks prior to payment.
By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees that they have read, fully understand and accept the City of Thousand Oak's Terms and Conditions of Online Sales, and agree to pay for and remove the property, if the bid is accepted, by the dates and times specified.
