[ View/Ask ]Up for Auction is a 2005 Forest River "Cherokee" 30' Camper. Camper has been parked for several years and is in poor condition overall. all four tires are dry-rotted and flat. Brakes and light hookup plug is corroded. Brakes and lights have not been tested. Exterior condition is poor overall. Roof shows signs of leaking, but no water is present in the interior. All appliances within have not been tested. Propane systems have not been tested. No plumbing has been tested (no hookups available at parked location). Electrical systems seem to get power as outlets have power. The slide out does operate okay, however it does not operate smoothly due to the condition of the slide out section.
Winner of Auction will be responsible for removal of camper as it sits. Camper is currently on jacks and the tires (Size 225/75/r15) will need to be replaced at a bare minimum. Vegetation and stairs will be removed by county employees before pickup date.
This description is our complete knowledge of this camper and its condition. Camper comes with one key.
Located at Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds, 21311 Courthouse Hwy, Windsor VA 23487. Camper must be towed off site.

COUNTY OF ISLE OF WIGHT may charge a sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding on an item(s). When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Processing of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.
Bid Deposits: COUNTY OF ISLE OF WIGHT may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.
Pick-up hours by appointment only. Successful bidder will be responsible for removal of item.
Successful bidder will be responsible for cost of packing and/or shipping of any item(s) if necessary.
