The City of Cuyahoga Falls Ohio Utility Billing dept offers this 2015 Ford Interceptor Utility Explorer SUV for sale via online auction. All vehicles offered for sale are AS IS - AS SEEN. In person inspection is encouraged by appointment M-F 09:00am - 03:30pm.
This was not used as a police vehicle and the mileage and operational hours are not as high as in a police duty situation. 3.7L engine and AWD and there may be some left over wires not connected from amber strobe lights as well as brackets and holes. This was recently turned in due to reduction in the departments' fleet as no longer needed. No warning lights are seen or reported and the driver door has a dent in the lower part. This SUV is quite dirty.
All features seem to work as intended and the driver seat has a torn out seam with slight foam loss.
Buyer agrees to pick up this asset 7 business days after the title is signed by the mayor and Notary stamped. No vehicles released until the title process is complete - no exceptions.
The City makes no statement as to ANY continued drive-ability other than it starts, moves ahead, reverses, stops and turns off. Method of removal is entirely the buyers choice. If a transport is hired the Garage must be notified 24 hours in advance with company and driver name. City staff will not assist.
Person picking this up must have a copy of the auction receipt, phone image is acceptable. Sale is tax exempt until you transfer the title.
