CNG Tank Information

This is a factory-built Honda Civic Natural Gas vehicle, not an aftermarket CNG conversion.

The CNG fuel tank/cylinder was last inspected in October 2024 and is marked with an expiration date of May 2027.

Prospective bidders should understand the inspection, certification, and expiration requirements associated with high-pressure CNG fuel systems before bidding. Any inspection, recertification, repair, replacement, or other work required after purchase is the responsibility of the successful bidder.

Condition

The exterior is in average used fleet condition and shows normal wear consistent with its age and previous use.

The vehicle has minor hail damage on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. There are also scratches, scuffs, chips, decal residue, and other cosmetic imperfections associated with fleet use.

Natural gas identification decals and fleet markings are still present on the vehicle. Reflective striping is present on the rear bumper. A rear-mounted fleet equipment bracket is also installed as shown in the photographs.

The trunk lid has visible cosmetic wear and evidence of previously installed equipment/markings.

The tires have remaining tread as shown in the photographs. No guarantee is made regarding remaining tire life or roadworthiness.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

Metropolitan Utilities District will charge a sales tax of 7%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
